Sharron Angle Raises $14.3 Million in Single Quarter for Nevada Senate Race; 
TMKG Fundraising Helps to Break Previous Record

WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 12, 2010) – The Macsata-Kornegay Group, Inc. (TMKG) today announced that it has helped Sharron Angle’s U.S. Senate campaign raise a record $14.3 million during the quarter from July 1st  through September 30th in her bid to unseat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.  TMKG was retained by the “Friends of Sharron Angle” campaign starting in July 2010 with Amanda Kornegay serving as Finance Director.

“We’re proud to have helped Sharron Angle produced the most successful single quarter of fundraising in the nation's history for a U.S. Senate campaign,” said TMKG Partner and Angle Finance Director, Amanda Kornegay.  “She is being referred to as the ‘$14 million dollar woman’ with her record-breaking fundraising.”

Angle’s $14.3 million topped the previous $14.2 million record set by Scott Brown in January 2010 during his Massachusetts Senate special election victory.  Angle’s totals also dwarf the nearest Senate candidates who posted successful quarters.

Making the total more impressive is the number of low-dollar donors.  It's a grassroots campaign like no other.

3rd Quarter 2010:

•	# of donors who gave $100 or less:  158,391 (94%)
•	# of donors who gave $200 or less:  161,358 (96%)
 
Angle has a $90 average donation for the election cycle to date.  The Federal Election Commission (FEC) report will be over 8,700 pages and it will stand about 3 feet tall when printed.  The monthly totals also show that we are picking up steam:

•	July - $3.11 million
•	August - $4.07 million
•	September - $7.17 million
 
Angle has garnered over 194,000 total election cycle donors to-date.
