WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 14, 2010) – The Macsata-Kornegay Group, Inc. (TMKG) today announced that it has been retained by the “Harrington for Congress” campaign committee to manage her fundraising strategies.  Karen Harrington announced her candidacy for Florida’s 20th Congressional District on January 26th – sending a clear message that no incumbent running for re-election should take anything for granted this November.

“Karen embodies the common sense ideals that are all too often missing in Washington,” said TMKG’s Managing Partner, Brandon M. Macsata.  “As a business woman, community activist, and two-time breast cancer survivor, she understands the many challenges facing Florida’s 20th Congressional District.”

Demonstrating her commitment to the campaign – as well as her strong roots in the community – Harrington submitted a total of 4,948 signatures from voters in both Broward and Miami-Dade counties in an effort to qualify as a candidate on the Republican Primary ballot this coming August.
